The Foundation would like to thank all players who participated in the Amateur Chamber Music Showcase on 6 January 2013, held at the Asia Society Hong Kong Center in conjunction with Premiere Performances of Hong Kong as part of the 4th HKICMF. The quality, passion, dedication and professionalism of all players was most inspiring. Seeing young students, professionals, andmusic lovers all share the same stage and support each other’s performances was extremely rewarding, and captures a critical component of what, the Foundation believes, music is really about.

The Foundation is also pleased to announce that 3 teams have been selected by Earl Carlyss and Anne Schein to take part in the upcoming Chamber Music Masterclass on 12 January 2013:

1.  Dvorak "American" Quartet - Wong Chak Chi, Marcus Ng, Chau Pok Man Marco, Chau Ho Yin

2.  Mendelssohn Trio No.1 - Philip Wan, Alex Lee, Denise Lee

3.  Brahms Quartet No.2 - Fung Kei Lap, Chan Cheuk Long, Christopher Ng Tsz Nok, Chan Shi Kai Jeffrey

This master-class will be held between  4 – 6pm, Saturday, on 12 January 2013 at the following venue:
