The Lin Yao Ji Music Foundation of China (LYJ Music Foundation) is pleased to present Professor Lewis Kaplan, Violin Faculty of the Juilliard School of Music in New York and Co-Founder of the Bowdoin International Music Festival, for its first Violin Masterclass and Pro-Am Chamber Music Workshop in 2013.
- The Pro-Am Chamber Music Workshop (“the Workshop”) will be held on Saturday 25 May 2013, 7.30 - 9.30pm, and Sunday 26 May 2013, 3:00 - 5:00pm. *
- The Violin Masterclass (“the Masterclass”) will be held on Saturday 25 May 2013, 3.00 - 6.00pm.
Both the Workshop and the Masterclass will be held at the Recital Theatre, 6/F Congregation House, 119 Leighton Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

APPLICATIONS
The deadline for applying to both the Masterclass and the Workshop is 11:59pm Hong Kong Time, 30 April 2013. Late submissions will not be accepted. Interested participants are encouraged to complete and submit the relevant application form as soon as possible, to masterclasses@linyaoji.com. Applications can be downloaded on this page (scroll to bottom of page).
Successful applicants will be notified on 7 May 2013 by email, and our representatives will be in touch with further arrangements.
Note: The date for notifying successful applicants has been postponed to 10 May 2013.
AUDIENCE ADMISSION
Both events are free and open to the public, upon registration at info@linyaoji.com. Seats will be allotted on a first-come-first-served basis, and successful registrants will be given further instructions prior to the events. Individuals who are physically handicapped, seniors, and others requiring special assistance may contact us at info@linyaoji.com.
DATA PRIVACY
All personal data collected for the purposes of the Masterclass and the Workshop will be handled strictly in accordance with the Personal Data Privacy Ordinance and the LYJ Music Foundation’s Data Privacy Policy.
* An entry fee of HK$200 per participating group will be charged for the Workshop as a contribution to the cost of the rental of the venue. Cheques should be made payable to "Lin Yao Ji Music Foundation of China Limited”, and mailed to the following address:
