After a highly successful appearance with the HKPO in 2010, Tianwa Yang has been invited back to perform the Korngold violin concerto with the HKPO on 6 and 7 June 2014. As a former student of the late Professor Lin Yao Ji, Tianwa has expressed the wish to carry on the legacy of her highly respected and dearly missed teacher. The Foundation is pleased to have Tianwa host a masterclass, which will be given as part of the events to launch the Foundation’s Scholarship Program.
The Masterclass will be held on Saturday 2 June 2014, from 4 to 6pm, at the Recital Theatre, 6/F Congregation House, 119 Leighton Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.
The Foundation would like to express its thanks to the HKPO and Renaissance Harbour View Hotel Hong Kong for supporting this event.
