Objective of the Competition
The first edition of the “Concorso Internazionale per Giovani Violinisti Cina e Italia” is being held to promote the exchange of classical music, to discover and cultivate up- and-coming talents, and to provide international stages for young artists to perform. We are committed to this high-standard international youth and children competition and it will be held once a year in the future.
Due to the impact of the epidemic, the Preliminary Rounds and Semi-Finals of the Competition will be web-based by video submissions. Until the end of the epidemic, we are looking forward to meeting the candidates in the Finals!
Lin Yao Ji Music Foundation is the Co-organizer of this Competition.

Update on 17 September 2020:
At the request of the participants, the Organizing Committee of the China-Italy International Violin Competition has made the decision to add groups B2 and C2 for students studying in primary and secondary schools affiliated with non-professional music colleges.
Group B2— Junior Section
12-16 years old (born between 31 August 2009 and 1 September 2004)
Group C2 — Youth Section
17 years (born before 31 August 2004) and up to 19 years old
