The Lin Yao Ji Music Foundation of China (LYJ Music Foundation) would like to inform you that new regulatory requirements for direct marketing under the new Part VI A of the Personal Data (Privacy) (Amendment) Ordinance 2012 will take effect on 1 April 2013.
The LYJ Music Foundation undertakes to comply with all requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO). To ensure you are well informed of the personal data as collected, we invite you to note the following information:
- The LYJ Music Foundation will use personal data collected in accordance with its Data Privacy Policy.
- Provision of personal data to the LYJ Music Foundation is on a purely voluntary basis.
- Your personal data (e.g. name, telephone number, fax number, email, mailing addresses, organization/company/school) may be used by the LYJ Music Foundation in the future for the purposes of providing you with information relating to the LYJ Music Foundation's activities as outlined in its Data Privacy Policy.
- Apart from the exemptions provided under the PDPO, you are entitled to access and correct your personal data held by the LYJ Music Foundation, and request us to cease to use your personal data for promotion purposes.
